I've been doing some unintentional self-reflecting.

I feel like God has been revealing me to me, I feel like He is Helping me to see more of myself everyday - especially the things I need to work on.

And one of those things is procrastination.

Procrastination is dangerous, she's just as dangerous as fear.

Procrastination is deceiving, she's like a poison that tastes good at first and you don't realise that she's actually hurting you until it's too late.

In the moment that you are procrastinating, it doesn't necessarily feel like you are:

because she convinces you that whatever you need to do, you will eventually do.

Procrastination convinces you that you've got time, in fact she tells you that you have too much time.

And time is something that we don't have a lot of.

Time is fleeting, she has a deadline and she can't afford to wait for you.

Procrastination doesn't want you to catch up with time, because if you do; she fears that you'll listen to her less.

She fears that you'll leave her and fall in love with productivity, and you won't want anything to do with her.

She knows that somethings are time-barred;

and if she holds onto to you a little longer; it will be too late.

And even when you realise that its too late, she'll convince you that there's nothing you can do.

She's got you stuck in her web of lies, she's got you stuck in her cycle.

Breaking up with her is not something you can do on your own.

To be free and completely free from her is something that can only be achieved through Jesus.

So don't try to do it on your because you will fail;

and if you do succeed, she knows your success won't last.

She'll find a way into your life, some way; some how.

So be humble enough to recognize that you can't get rid of her on your own, at least for good.

Turn to Jesus, pray to Him and He will Answer you.

He'll delete your name and number from her phonebook.

He'll Take her so far away from you, that she will never remember your affair.

In Jesus Name Amen.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

In other words, achieve all you can while you still have the time to.

Proverbs 12:24

Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.
